Mario Ayala
Mario Ayala Valentín (born August 10, 1942 in La Piedad , Michoacán ), also known by the nickname El Capi , is a former Mexican football player and coach who worked in both capacities for his long-time club Club León .
career
At the 1964 Summer Olympics Ayala was part of the squad of the Mexican football team .
As a professional footballer , "Capi" Ayala played in the 1960s for the capital club, Club America , with which he won the championship title of the 1965/66 season. In the 1970s he was under contract with Club León, with whom he won the cup competition of the 1971/72 season and then the Supercup . Due to his many years of service to the Club León, for which he was active as a player at least until 1975, a street in the city of León was named after him.
