Mario Castellacci

Mario Castellacci (born July 16, 1925 in Reggio Calabria , † December 4, 2002 in Todi ) was an Italian screenwriter .

Life

Castellacci worked as a journalist , humorist and radio writer ; In 1965 he founded the legendary Roman cabaret, Bagagino, with Pier Francesco Pingitore , Luciano Cirri and Piero Palumbo . Seven years later he moved to the Salone Margharita . He wrote all the scripts for Pingitore's films with Pippo Franco , who had already been a regular guest on his stages, and was co-director of two Pingitores.

Castellacci's last scriptwriting was for television series. In 1998 he published his biography; he was the author of numerous songs.
