Mario Dugandzic

Mario Dugandzic (born June 29, 1985 in Mostar ) is a German basketball coach and former player.

career

Dugandzic, who grew up in Heidelberg , played in the 2nd basketball league for the USC Heidelberg and Union Shops Rastatt in the course of his career , in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB he wore the shirt of the BIS Baskets Speyer to the club stations of 1.93 Meter tall player also belonged to Südstadt Karlsruhe in the first regional league.

He was the coach of TV Bad Bergzabern in the second regional league, looked after the second team of the USC Heidelberg (also regional league) and was youth leader at Nuremberg BC and subsequently at Nuremberg Falcons BC from 2014 . In this position he also trained the Nuremberg team, TS Herzogenaurach, in the regional league.

In the 2016/17 season he coached the U19 team from Ehingen / Urspring in the junior basketball league until January 2017 , in the 2017/18 season he was first coach of the BG Eisbären in the regional league before joining the Coach position at FC Baunach in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA changed. He led the Baunacher to stay in the second division. With Felix Czerny's engagement as Baunacher head coach in July 2018, Dugandzic moved to the post of co-trainer and at the same time took over the post of head coach of the U19 team within the youth development network of the Bundesliga club Brose Bamberg . After Czerny's release in February 2019, Dugandzic and Yassin Idbihi initially took over the duties of head coach in Baunach's ProA team and remained in office as head coach after relegation to the 2nd Bundesliga ProB. In the summer of 2019 he worked as an assistant coach for the German U20 national team under Alan Ibrahimagic .
