Mario Krohm (born June 2, 1967 in Lüxheim ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

On February 14, 1987, Krohm made his professional debut in the 2nd Bundesliga for Alemannia Aachen . In 1989 the striker moved to Belgium and after four stops in 1994 came back to Germany for MSV Duisburg . Here he completed his only Bundesliga appearances in 1994/95 , after which he switched to the lower class SC Jülich . Another year later, in 1996, he went to Bonner SC , with whom he was promoted to the Regionalliga West / Südwest . Here he did not play for the promoted team in the following season, but switched to league rivals Alemannia Aachen. With Aachen he rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 1998/99 , but this time too he left a club after a promotion and switched to LR Ahlen , with which he continued to play in the Regionalliga West / Südwest. 1999/2000 he rose with this club and this time he stayed in the following year after promotion, but after 21 goals in the promotion year he only managed one in the following season in 14 games. So he moved back to the regional league, to KFC Uerdingen 05 , where he played until 2003 and then ended his career.
