Mario Montuori
Mario Montuori (born May 1, 1920 in Rome ) is an Italian cameraman .
Life
Montuori's father Carlo was already a cameraman; Mario began working behind the camera for the Italian film industry in 1945 as his father's assistant. In 1947 he became chief cameraman and worked in this role in over 60 films until 1977. He often worked with Mario Soldati and at the end of his career also with Roberto Rossellini . In the 1960s he was also involved in the making of several genre films such as B. Spaghetti Western involved. His atmospheric image design is noticed, which he has given his films from foggy to romantic to efficient.
