action

The attractive artist Daisy gets into an argument with her partner, the famous trapeze artist Sergio Farnell. After being slapped by him, she decides to take revenge on him. At the next performance, she crashes him. During a visit to the hospital, Daisy meets Sergio's doctor, the surgeon and university professor Antonio Sanna. Although he is basically happily married to his wife Maria, he quickly succumbs to the seductive arts of the beautiful artist. Little by little the doctor neglects his family. He becomes completely a slave to Daisy. This goes so far that one day he has to find out during an operation that he is no longer up to the task. He is negligent in causing the death of a patient.

Sergio, whose injury to the spine was discovered by Dr. Sanna has been successfully treated opens the doctor's eyes to Daisy's true character. He is about to turn away from her when she visits him at a lecture at the university, and he is immediately attracted to him again. This love affair does not remain hidden from Maria Sanna either. Together with their son Mario, she leaves her husband.

The day will come when Dr. Sanna decides to break down all the tents behind her and go with Daisy through the country. Family friends tell Maria about the plan. Then she confronts her rival while driving a car. In her excitement, Maria noticeably increases the driving speed. She can no longer avoid an oncoming truck. Both women are seriously injured.

Daisy does not survive the accident. Maria, on the other hand, is operated on successfully by her own husband. The couple are reconciled and move in together again.
