Mario Pollhammer (born June 20, 1989 ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a defender .
Career
Pollhammer began his career in 1997 at Union Kirchberg / Raab in Styria . In 2002 he moved to SC St. Margarethen / Raab , where he was brought into the first team in 2004 and was used there in the Styrian Unterliga Süd (sixth highest Austrian division). In 2007 the right-back went to regional league USV Allerheiligen . He made his debut in the regional league against FC Wels on August 17, 2007, when he was injured in the 28th minute and was substituted on for Martin Sternad. The game was won 3-2. He scored his first goal on March 16, 2008 in the Styrian derby against the Grazer AK . After two more seasons in southern Styria , he was signed by the Grazer AK.
In the “red jackets” category, Pollhammer made a good impression under coach Peter Stöger and was signed by Bundesliga club SC Wiener Neustadt in the following season . There he made his debut in the top Austrian division on July 16, 2011 against SV Mattersburg , when he played through. The defender matured into a regular at the Wiener Neustädtern. At the end of the 2014/15 season, his contract with SC Wiener Neustadt was not extended, whereupon Pollhammer moved to SC Ritzing in the Regionalliga Ost . After the Ritzinger withdrew from the regional league in summer 2017, he was signed by the regional league club FC Gleisdorf 09 .
For the 2019/20 season he moved to his youth club SC St. Margarethen / Raab in the sixth highest division.
