Marion Gentges (born August 23, 1971 in Haslach im Kinzigtal ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and a member of the Baden-Württemberg state parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from the Robert-Gerwig - Gymnasium Hausach , Gentges studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität in Freiburg from 1991 and completed her legal clerkship at the Offenburg Regional Court from 1996 to 1998 . Then she worked as an employed lawyer in Hessen . Gentges has been self-employed since 2004 with its own law firm in Zell am Harmersbach and specializes in labor law .

Political career

Gentges joined the CDU in 1990 and was district chairman of the Ortenau Young Union from 1993 to 1996 . Since 1993 she has been a member of the district executive committee of the CDU Ortenau. In the state election in Baden-Württemberg in 2016 , she won a second mandate from the Lahr state electoral district .

Private

Gentges is married and has one daughter.
