Marion Grillparzer

Marion Charlotte Grillparzer (born June 7, 1961 in Starnberg ) is a German ecotrophologist , journalist and author in the field of health and nutrition. She became known with the Glyx diet , in 1999 she invented the term Glyx .

Life

After studying ecotrophology at the Technical University of Munich in Weihenstephan , Grillparzer completed a journalistic training at the Henri Nannen School in Hamburg. She did her traineeship with the magazine “Prima”. In 1990 she moved to Burda Verlag , where she worked as an editor with a focus on nutrition and health for “My family and me”. Since 1993 she has been writing as a freelance writer for the magazines " Das Haus ", "Ambiente", "Vif", " Stern ", " Elle ", " Freund ", " Donna " and " Bunte ".

Since 1999 she has been writing advice for Gräfe und Unzer , Südwest und Heyne Verlag . Her first advisor was "Fat Burner: The Fat Melts Away That Easily". In 2005, three of her books were on the Focus bestseller list : "GLYX Diet", "GLYX Diet - The Cookbook" and "Salto Vitale". This was followed by the advice guide “Body Knowledge” (2007), “The Diet Nanny - happy, full and 30 kilos lighter” (2009). She has published a total of 60 books. Since 2013 she has also been the publisher of the myBook series at Südwest Verlag ("I feel good", "Vegan but mal!", "Run!").

Grillparzer lives with her husband Wolf in Munich and in the Chiemgau.
