Marius Behr (born April 9, 1997 ) is a German basketball player who is under contract with VfL Bochum .

career

Behr grew up near the city of Bremerhaven  and played in the offspring department of the Eisbären Bremerhaven . He played in the youth basketball league and the youth basketball league , and from the 2013/14 season onwards he gained playing experience in the adult sector in the men's team of the polar bear partner club BSG (second and first regional league). At the end of April 2016 he made his debut in the basketball Bundesliga for the Eisbären in the game against Oldenburg .

For the 2016/17 season, Behr moved to the Hamburg Towers in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA and was also given the opportunity to gain match practice in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB by means of a "double license" for Hamburg's cooperation partner, SC Rist Wedel . At the beginning of the 2018/19 game year he was out due to illness, then he made nine appearances for the Towers (0.8 points per game) and made it to the Bundesliga as champions of the ProA. During the season, however, Behr was mostly used at Rist Wedel in the ProB, where he scored an average of 4.9 points in 19 games.

During the 2019 summer break, he moved to VfL Bochum (2nd Bundesliga ProB), where he worked with coach Félix Bañobre , as in Wedel .
