Marjan Burgar (born January 15, 1952 in Gorje-Bled ) is a former Yugoslav biathlete .
Marjan Burgar was the first biathlete to represent Yugoslavia at the Winter Olympics . The Slovenian, who competed for Partizan Gorje , took part in the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid . In the sprint he came in 35th, in the individual on 38th place. Before that, he took part in the 1978 Biathlon World Championships in Hochfilzen and was 53rd in the sprint, 45th in the individual race in 1979 in Ruhpolding , 61st in the sprint and with Andrej Lanišek , Marjan Vidmar and Ivan Pirs as the final runners 17th in the relay race. After the games he took part in the biathlon world championships in Lahti in 1981 and was 64th of the sprint and in 1982 in Minsk , where he was 40th in the sprint race.
