Marjan Vidmar (born July 1, 1960 in Ljubljana ) is a former Yugoslav biathlete .
Marjan Vidmar started for TVD Partizan Dol from Ljubljana. His first major event was the 1979 biathlon world championships in Ruhpolding , where he was 17th in the relay race with Andrej Lanišek , Ivan Pirs and Marjan Burgar . At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid , Marjan Burgar was the only Yugoslav to use. It was not until the Biathlon World Championships in Antholz in 1983 that Vidmar came to another international championship. In South Tyrol the Slovene was 63rd in the individual and 65th in the sprint race. The climax and conclusion of his career was the 1984 Winter Olympics , which took place in Sarajevo and thus in the Yugoslav homeland, which was still united at the time. In the individual he finished 46th and was 54th in the sprint. It was not considered for the relay race.
