Mark Andrew Capes

Mark Andrew Capes (* 1954 ) was the 33rd Governor of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha from October 29, 2011 to April 2016 and thus the official representative of the British monarch on St. Helena , Ascension and Tristan da Cunha .

He handed over his position to Lisa Honan on April 25, 2016 .

Life

Prior to taking office as governor of St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, Capes was the government director of the Turks and Caicos Islands . Before that, Capes was lieutenant governor of Bermuda from 2006 to 2009 .

Capes is married and has two daughters.
