Ed Powers
Ed Powers (born Mark Arnold Krinsky in Brooklyn , New York City , October 25, 1954 ) is an American porn actor , director and producer. In the opening and closing credits of some films he also appears as Edward Powers or Mark Arnold .
From 1970 to 1978 Powers was a social worker in a Brooklyn apartment complex . Since 1978 he has appeared on Broadway in New York City at erotic vaudeville events. In 1985 he starred in a hardcore porno for the first time.
In 1989 Ed Powers co-initiated the hugely successful Dirty Debutantes porn series with Jamie Gillis . By 2007, 369 episodes had been shot. Almost all episodes follow the same pattern: Powers (or another actor) approaches a young woman between the ages of 18 and her early twenties on the street and invites her over. There he asks her personal questions in front of the camera (from the off ), then persuades her to undress and present various body parts. Finally, he himself appears in front of the camera and performs sexual acts with the young lady. Sometimes a second man (often Jamie Gillis) joins them. It appears to the viewer as if it were spontaneous sex with random acquaintances. In reality, of course, the actresses were cast beforehand. However, they are in fact “debutantes” who previously had little or no industry experience. A number of later famous porn actresses began their careers with an appearance on Dirty Debutantes , such as Sunrise Adams , Carmen Luvana , Anna Malle , Bridget Powers and Aurora Snow . The format of Dirty Debutantes found imitators in many countries.
By 2000, Powers hosted a popular erotic radio talk show called Bedtime Stories in Los Angeles . As co-presenters, he brought in some of his actresses, for example. B. Bridget Powers.
Ed Powers was inducted into both the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame . As an actor, director and producer, he has been involved in more than 700 productions so far.
Ed Powers' “trademarks” are black socks and glasses with a black rim. He does not remove these utensils during sex in front of the camera.
