Mark Felton

Mark Felton (born May 13, 1974 in Colchester ) is a British historian and author .

Career

Born and raised in Colchester, he attended the local secondary and integrated "Philip Morant School with affiliated colleague". He then completed his bachelor's and master's degree and his doctorate in historian at the University of Essex in 2005. From 2005 to 2017, he taught first in Shanghai and later at Fudan University .

He was also a volunteer with the Royal British Legion, a war veterans organization, and organized several events in China . Prime Minister David Cameron asked Felton for assistance from the British Consulate in Shanghai in the rediscovery of the graves of four British soldiers killed by the Japanese in 1937. He received a certificate of recognition from the Royal British Legion. Felton appeared as an expert on military history on the television series Combat Trains ( The History Channel ), Top Tens of Warfare (Quest TV), and Evolution of Evil (American Heroes Channel). In 2017 Felton launched his own YouTube channel , Mark Felton Productions, which explores numerous historical topics.

Felton lives in Norwich with his wife and child .
