geography

The municipality is located in the southwest corner of the historic province of Småland on the border with Skåne and Halland . This is also the border between the flat arable land of Skåne and the wooded landscape of Småland. This is dominated by deep forests and wide moors , which are loosened up by lakes and streams. Part of the community is reforested forest, which was created on former pastures that were once widespread here.
