The Markhofgraben is a right tributary of the Kühlenbach near Weißenburg in Bavaria in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

course

The stream rises next to the federal highway 2 , just west of the mountain Auf der Ebene , north of the eponymous town of Markhof and west of Stadelhof . It flows west to the Treuchtlingen – Nuremberg railway line , then south-west in a drainage ditch along the embankment. At about 419  m above sea level. NN flows into the longer and richer catchment area Kühlenbach . The ditch, now more likely to be called Kühlenbach, flows just under 200 meters further west of Dettenheim , from the right into the Swabian Rezat .

During its entire course, the Markhofgraben crosses the wide open landscape of the upper valley of the Swabian Rezat.
