Marko Vujić (born February 12, 1984 in Zenica , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a former Austrian football player of Bosnian-Herzegovinian descent. Most recently he played for SV Austria Salzburg .

Career

Vujić began his career in the youth teams of SV Scharnstein and Grün-Weiß Micheldorf in Upper Austria . In 2001 he came to LASK Linz in the second division, where he was also able to book a few appearances. In 2003 he moved to city rivals FC Blau-Weiß Linz , from where he moved to Belgium . Vujić signed a contract with KV Mechelen for one year. He then returned to Austria and played briefly in 2005 with the amateurs of ASKÖ Pasching . In the same year he moved again and went to SC Schwanenstadt in the first division . In 2006 he finally came to the Red Bull Salzburg Juniors. Born in Bosnian, he played in the first team of FC Red Bull Salzburg in the 2006/07 championship season , making him an Austrian soccer champion.

In 2009 he left Salzburg and moved to Egaleo AO Athens in the Beta Ethniki , the second highest Greek division. On February 9th, 2010 the Linz ASK announced the engagement of Marko Vujic. After returning from Athens, he played three times for LASK. On May 12, 2010, LASK announced that it would no longer renew the native Yugoslav's contract for the coming season.

On July 1, 2010, he moved to SV Austria Salzburg . He ended his career on June 6, 2014.
