Markt is a business and consumer magazine of the North German Broadcasting Corporation . The focus is on the areas of economy , health and social affairs.

Components of the program are, for example, product tests. There is also the Market Interferes section , which helps viewers with problems with various companies.

The current broadcasting slot is on Mondays from 8:15 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on NDR television . The show is moderated by Jo Hiller , who succeeded Steffen Hallaschka in January 2011 .

The program first went on air on January 2, 1989 on N3 under the name “Markt am Montag”. Later the program was called “Markt im third”, now just “Markt”.

On July 4, 2011, the 1000th program was broadcast.
