Markus Beile
Markus Beile (born August 18, 1964 in Mannheim ) is a German Protestant pastor , theologian and book author .
Life and work
Markus Beile is a son of the theologian Rüdiger Beile and his wife Gertrud. Markus Beile has been married to Ulrike Lummerzheim since 1992. The couple have two daughters.
education
Markus Beile studied philosophy and Protestant theology in Heidelberg. He completed his teaching vicariate in Freiburg and worked as a parish vicar in Mannheim , Sulzbach (near Hemsbach) and Barcelona . He received his doctorate in 2015 from the University of Zurich on the subject of "Challenges and perspectives of the confirmation sermon".
Professional background
From 1996 to 2005 Beile took over the pastor's office in Immenstaad on Lake Constance , from 2005 to 2008 he was pastor of the (German-speaking) Protestant community in Singapore . On September 1, 2008 he took over the pastoral office in Allensbach .
For the farewell in Allensbach in the summer of 2016, the "sea baptisms and ecumenical services on the Walzenberg" were highlighted as unusual initiatives. Beile now works as a pastor and religion teacher in Constance .
Literary activity
The literary work of Markus Beiles is based on a religious pedagogical approach . The theological orientation is based on the assumption of a perception of reality as an act of construction. Through the “process of an adaptation” everyday reality, the “world of reason” can be harmonized or brought into a balance with the “world of faith, the Bible”: “Christians see the world like everyone else, but they transform it with the images, stories, values and attitudes of the world of Christian faith that are central to them. "
