Markus Bless

Markus Bless (* 1963 in Seewalchen am Attersee ) is an Austrian music and media artist .

Life

Bless studied visual media design, music and media technology with Adelhard Roidinger , Gerald Wolf and Andreas Weixler at the University for Artistic and Industrial Design Linz and algorithmic composition with Karlheinz Essl at the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz . Since 1999 he has been a member of the artists' association MAERZ . He lives and works in Schörfling am Attersee .

In 1998 he was the first Austrian photo artist to take part in the international festival for contemporary photography Photosynkyria 98 in Thessaloniki . In 2000 he was represented at the Wien Modern Festival with an audiovisual spatial sound installation in the Essl Museum .

Markus Bless' works can be assigned to different areas of audiovisual composition such as photography , video , graphics , music and room installation .

Graphics

Graphics are, for example, in the art collection of the State of Upper Austria and in the Lentos Art Museum Linz.
