Markus Grasser
Markus "Schoko" Grasser (born June 18, 1972 in Bamberg ) is a former German football player .
Career
Born in Bamberg, he began his career at RSV Drosendorf . The defender came to VfL Frohnlach as an adult via SV Memmelsdorf and SC 08 Bamberg . Then Grasser played from 1997 to 2001 at 1. FC Nürnberg , but only came to 12 first division and second division appearances. In 2001 the SSV Jahn Regensburg signed him. After a year, the defender moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena for the 2002/03 season and to 1. SC Feucht in the summer of 2004 . In January 2005 he moved to FC Schaffhausen in Switzerland . From 2005 to 2009 Grasser played for 1. FC Eintracht Bamberg and was captain there. In the 2009/10 season he played at ASV Gaustadt in the Upper Franconian regional league. After relegation to the Bayern League, Grasser was head of sport at FC Eintracht Bamberg from July 2010 . He is now an assistant coach at SV Memmelsdorf / Ofr. active.
