Markus Hoffmann (born January 2, 1971 in Berlin ; † January 16, 1997 there ) was a German actor and voice actor .

Life

After graduating from high school, Hoffmann completed an apprenticeship as a hotel manager and also took acting lessons .

After returning from a two-year stay in the United States , during which he worked as an extra in the series Der Denver-Clan , Hoffmann got into the series business on German television. In 1993 he was first seen in the series Auto Fritze on ARD . In 1994 he played the soap role of Mr. Oberle in the series The Fallers . He had other episode roles and guest roles in Die Wache und Schwarz intervenes .

In addition, Hoffmann worked in Berlin as a voice actor for television series such as The Waltons and The Bill Cosby Show .

From January 1995 he played in the ARD early evening series Verbotene Liebe . He embodied the leading role in the series of the charming playboy Henning Graf von Anstetten (episode 1–250). In January 1996 Hoffmann left the series voluntarily.

On January 16, 1997, Hoffmann committed suicide by jumping out of the 28th floor of the Ideal residential high-rise in Berlin-Gropiusstadt . Hendrik Martz and Patrik Fichte continued his previous role in Verbotene Liebe from 1998 to 2002 .
