Markus Müller (born May 22, 1988 in Eberswalde ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Müller learned to play football at ESV Zschorlau , for which he played until 2000. The player used as a striker played in the U-19 of FC Erzgebirge Aue and for the club's second team in the Oberliga Nordost .

In the second half of the 2007/08 season, Müller played his first games in the 2nd Bundesliga when he was used in the games against 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Alemannia Aachen . In addition, the striker was the top scorer in the Landesliga Sachsen in 2007/08 . After he made three short appearances for FC Erzgebirge in the third division , he moved to Halleschen FC in the Regionalliga Nord during the 2008/09 winter break and scored five goals in 16 games in the second half of the season. After a broken ankle in 2010, the contract with Halleschen FC was not extended. From the 2011/12 season, the striker played for SV Babelsberg 03 in the third division. After two years and the relegation of Babelsberg from the 3rd division, Müller moved to Wormatia Worms in the Regionalliga Südwest in July 2013 . However, he left the club again during the winter break. From January 2014 to May 2016 the striker played for Kickers Offenbach . He then joined the regional league promoted Teutonia Watzenborn-Steinberg . From the 2018/19 season, Markus Müller played for his successor club, FC Gießen . On July 1, 2019, he joined TSV Wachtendonk-Wankum, which plays in the Niederrhein district league.
