Markus Manig

Max Rudolf Markus Manig (born April 29, 1981 in Altenburg ) is a German actor , speaker and dubbing actor .

Life

Markus Manig already gained stage experience at the Altenburg-Gera Theater in his youth . He led several children and youth theater groups at the Altenburger Land youth art school. His production "Judensau" based on the novel Stern ohne Himmel by Leonie Ossowski was proposed in 2005 as part of the project "1945: Departure of National Socialism - 2005: Arrival of Right-Wing Radicalism?"

After Markus Manig studied theater and cultural studies for four semesters at the University of Leipzig (2003–2005), he completed his acting training at the Theater Academy Vorpommern auf Usedom (2005–2009).

During this time he played at the Vorpommerschen Landesbühne and worked with the directors Swentja Krumscheidt ( Motortown ) and Jürgen Kern (including Don Juan and Der Hauptmann von Köpenick ). In his subsequent engagement at the Nordharzer Städtebundtheater (2009–2012) he stood for productions such. B. by Peter Lüder ( Nathan the Wise ), Klaus Seiffert ( The Little Horror Shop ), Marc Pommerening ( Three Sisters ), Jonathan Failla (End Days) and Paul Burian ( The Robbers ) on stage.

The short film “The Last City” was awarded for best film at the 48-hours-film-project 2012, with him in the roles of civil servant and doctor.

From 2013 to 2015 he played alongside Herbert Köfer , Ingeborg Krabbe and Dorit Gäbler in the production "Pensioners never have time".

With the audio book “A future existence is already germinating in me - the life of the poet Novalis”, he began to intensify his work as a speaker in the role of Novalis in 2012 . To this day he is active as a speaker in many areas.
