Markus Matthias Rapp

Markus (Matthias) Rapp (born July 21, 1955 in Stuttgart ) is a German sculptor .

Rapp completed an apprenticeship as a stonemason and sculptor from 1976 to 1978 , studied painting with Gerd Neisser at the Free Art School Stuttgart from 1978 to 1980 and sculpture with Alfred Hrdlicka from 1980 to 1986 at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . He has been working as a freelancer since 1986. Today he lives in Vaihingen an der Enz .
