Markus Miele

Markus Miele (born December 20, 1968 in Gütersloh ) is a managing partner and member of the management board of Miele & Cie .

Life

Miele is a great-grandson of the company's founder Carl Miele (1869–1938) and the son of Rudolf Miele (1929–2004).

Miele completed his schooling at the Evangelical School Stiftisches Gütersloh , his studies ended as industrial engineering in Karlsruhe and earned his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen Dr. oec.

He gained his first professional experience at Hella KGaA Hueck & Co. On July 1, 1999, he joined the family company Miele; since July 2002 he has been a managing partner of Miele & Cie. Since March 2005 he has been Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry East Westphalia in Bielefeld . In September 2008 he was elected chairman of the employers' association for the Gütersloh district. In 2009 it was named “ Family Entrepreneur of the Year ”.

Miele is married to Katja Soehnle -Miele and has two children.
