Markus Pytlik
Markus Pytlik (born August 5, 1966 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German teacher and composer .
life and work
He already learned guitar , piano and oboe while still at school, and from 1981 to 1988 he also had composition lessons . Pytlik then studied school music at the Cologne University of Music and German studies and pedagogy at the University of Cologne with the aim of teaching (secondary level I and II). Since 1997 he has been working in the main office as a teacher for music, German and literature at the Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium in Langenfeld (Rhineland) . At the same time he deals with the composition of various musical works, some of which have become known nationwide. A well-known work of his is the text and the melody of "May the road bring us together", which he wrote from an Irish blessing text and which has been added to the praise of God in many dioceses .
Musical activities
He writes and composes New Spiritual Songs , he has several publications in song books and on CD. He published the piece Four Situations for the Guitar in 1985. The spiritual musical Jerusalem was written and composed by Pytlik in 1991, and it premiered in 1991. In collaboration with students from the Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium, he composed and composed the musical Im Shadow of the cathedral . In summer 2002 it was premiered at the Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium Langenfeld. He also wrote and composed the musical Das Gespenst von Canterville based on the work of the same name by Oscar Wilde , which premiered in autumn 2004 at the Konrad-Adenauer-Gymnasium Langenfeld. Also premiered at Konrad Adenauer-Gymnasium Langenfeld in autumn 2006 was his poetry and composition of the musical Murder on the Orient Express based on the work of Agatha Christie .
Since 1990 Pytlik has also directed the Lichtblick choir in Bergisch Gladbach.
