Marlène Meyer-Dunker (born February 18, 1979 in Hamburg ) is a German actress .

Life

Marlène Meyer-Dunker was born to a German father and a Spanish mother and grew up in Hamburg. At the age of seven she began ballet training because, like her mother, who was a soloist at the Hamburg State Opera , she wanted to become a ballet dancer. For the first time she appeared on the stage of the Hamburg State Opera as Krokus in the "Four Seasons". She took ballet and piano lessons until she was fifteen. She went to the Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer high school in Hamburg. During her school days, she was seen in various film productions. At the age of fourteen she had her first casting for a leading role in the ZDF series "Tides of Love" and got the role. This was followed by a leading role in the feature film " The Pact - When Children Kill " with Daniel Brühl , directed by Miguel Alexandre . This was followed by numerous film and television roles that she played during her Abitur in Hamburg. From 1999 to 2003 she trained at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin , where she graduated with distinction. She then performed at the BAT Studiotheater Berlin , the Kammerspiele DT Berlin , the United Theaters Bozen , the Theater Heidelberg, the Winterhuder Fährhaus Hamburg, the Schauspiel Leipzig , the Staatsschauspiel Dresden , the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen, the Neues Theater Halle, the Schauspiel Magdeburg , at the Ernst Deutsch Theater Hamburg, at the Hamburger Kammerspiele , at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck and at the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin. She worked with the directors Wolfgang Engel , Mona Kraushaar, Volker Lösch , Jan Jochymski and Armin Petras , among others .
