Marnick Danny Vermijl (born January 13, 1992 in Peer ) is a Belgian football player .

Career

society

After stints in youth in Bocholt and Liège, Vermijl moved to Manchester United in the summer of 2010. Since then he has played in the reserve team in the Professional Development League, which he also won in the 2012/13 season. For the 2013/14 season he was loaned to the 1st Dutch league of the Eredivisie for NEC Nijmegen. He played 28 games in the Eredivisie and scored three goals. Nijmegen was relegated to the Eerste Divisie this season . In the summer of 2014 he returned to Manchester.

On February 2, 2015, Vermijl moved to Sheffield Wednesday . He received a contract until June 30, 2018.

Vermijl was loaned out to league rivals Preston North End in August 2015. Vermijl was originally supposed to return to Sheffield Wednesday after the 2015/16 season . On August 31, he was firmly signed by Preston North End. Vermijl signed a contract until June 30, 2019.

National team

Currently plays Vermijl for the U-21 from Belgium . He was in the U-19 squad for the U-19 European Football Championship 2011 in Romania . Here he played two games and scored one goal. His team was eliminated in the preliminary round.
