Martin Duggen (born January 8, 1981 ) is a former German basketball player . During his career he played for the Paderborn Baskets in the basketball league .

Career

Until 2002, Duggen, who was also a talented tennis player as a youth , played for his home club SC Rist Wedel , where he worked with technical coach Ewald Schauer , in the 2nd basketball league before joining the Paderborn Baskets (also the second division) changed. With the East Westphalia he celebrated winning the championship title in the 2nd Bundesliga North in 2006 and was used in 14 games of the basketball Bundesliga after promotion during the 2006/07 season .

In 2007 he withdrew from the professional field, but continued to play at a high level, in the 1st Regionalliga Nord with the Itzehoe Eagles , for which he completed two seasons.

In 2010 Duggen returned to Paderborn, where Duggen worked as a “sponsoring manager” for the second division, also played for the club's second men's team and temporarily helped out in Paderborn's team in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA in the 2010/11 season . At the end of 2011 he left Paderborn for professional reasons for Hamburg . In the second half of the 2011/12 season he strengthened the team of BG Halstenbek / Pinneberg in the 2nd regional league. After the end of his competitive sports career, he temporarily played for the senior team over 35 of his home club SC Rist Wedel and won the German championship title in this age group with the team in 2016.
