Martin Fix

Martin Fix (* 1961 in Friedrichshafen ) is a German educator and university teacher .

Life

After graduating from high school in 1980, Fix studied elementary and secondary school teaching from 1982 to 1985 with the subjects German, biology and history at the Weingarten University of Education . After working in school, in 1989 he took up a doctoral degree at the Weingarten University of Education. The doctorate with distinction as Dr. paed. took place in 1994 with the dissertation History and Practice of Dictation in Spelling Lessons: demonstrated using the example of the elementary school / secondary school in Württemberg and Baden-Württemberg . From 1993 to 1999 he worked as an academic assistant at the PHs in Weingarten and Ludwigsburg . The habilitation with the work text revisions in school: process-oriented writing didactics between instruction and self-control; empirical studies in eighth grade were carried out in 2000 at the PH Ludwigsburg in cooperation with the University of Tübingen .

Followed in 1999 Fix a call to a professor for German language and its didactics at the University of Education Schwäbisch Gmünd before 2002 as professor of German language and its didactics at the PH Ludwigsburg changed. From 2005 to 2008 he was initially Vice-Rector for Studies and Teaching, and has been Rector there since 2008 .
