Martin Franz
Martin Franz (born July 8, 1928 in Hamburg ; † December 7, 2016 in Greifswald ) was a German painter and art teacher .
He studied from 1950 to 1954, among others with Herbert Wegehaupt , arts and crafts education at the University of Greifswald . He then worked at the University's Caspar David Friedrich Institute as an assistant , lecturer and lecturer, and from 1992 to 1995 as professor for theory and practice of the visual arts.
His works include a portrait of Hans-Jürgen Zobel , Rector of the University of Greifswald from 1990 to 1994, in the Greifswald Professorengalerie .
