Martin Herb

Martin Herb (born April 11, 1930 ) is a German lawyer . He was a notary from 1964 to 1998 and from 1982 president of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Notaries .

Life

Martin Herb grew up in Lorch in the Remstal . In 1964 he joined Thurner, Grund and Herb. From 1973 to 1977 he was an assessor in the notary's senate at the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court . Herb was a member of the Baden-Württemberg Chamber of Notaries from 1978 and its president from 1982. After the end of his term of office in 1993, Herb became Honorary President of the Stuttgart Chamber of Notaries.

Furthermore, Herb worked from 1985 in the committee of the Federal Chamber of Notaries for Commercial and Company Law, from 1989 also in the committee for foreign notarizations. Martin Herb regularly notarized general meetings of renowned companies from Baden-Württemberg , for example the general shareholders' meeting of the Daimler group or the Hugo Boss group .

For his services in the professional self-administration of the freelance notary's office, Herb was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit on Ribbon in 1990 and the Federal Cross of Merit 1st Class in 1994.

In addition to his work as a notary, Herb was committed to the football club VfB Stuttgart , which he advised from 1970; From 1996 to 2002 he was a member of its supervisory board.
