Martin Klinckow

Martin Klinckow , ennobled as von Klinckowström (born August 22, 1650 in Stralsund , † March 18, 1717 in Engelswacht ) was a councilor in Swedish Pomerania .

Life

Martin Klinckow became Provisioner in Bremen in 1670 and General Provisioner Lieutenant in Swedish Pomerania in 1674. In 1677 he became rent master , in 1681 land rent master and at the same time fortification treasurer . In 1684 he was raised to the Swedish nobility under the name of Klinkowström . As early as 1678 his older brother Johann († 1702) had been ennobled under the same name, his three younger brothers followed in 1690. In 1689 he was Chief War Commissioner of the Army in Holstein . In the same year he became a budget commissioner and senior license administrator in Szczecin . In 1700 he became General War Commissioner for the Swedish armies in Germany. From 1701 he was a castle captain and councilor of the Swedish government in Szczecin .

He died on his Engelswacht estate and was buried in the Reinkenhagen church .

family

Martin Klinckow was the third son of the Stralsund councilor Martin Klinckow (1613–1661) and his wife Maria von Schewen († 1676), the daughter of Stralsund councilor Johann von Schewen.

His first marriage was Anna Elisabeth Vorberger († 1705) in 1677. In 1706 he married Sophia Marderfelt († 1757). The first marriage had three daughters and eight sons, including:
