Martin Peerson
Martin Peerson (* around 1572 in March , Cambridgeshire ; buried January 16, 1651 in London ) was an English composer and organist of the Baroque era .
Life
Peerson studied at Oxford until 1613 . In 1624 or 1625 he became organist and choirmaster at St Paul's Cathedral in London .

- Teares or Lamentacions (1614)
- Tristitiae Remedium (1616)
- Private Musicke (1620) contains secular music for one or two voices, violin and virginal .
- Mottects or Grave Chamber Music (1630) contains 15 Latin motets .
The four tracks Alman, The Fall of the Leafe, Piper's Paven, The Primrose are included in the Fitzwilliam Virginal Book .
