Martin Tenk (born February 8, 1972 in Ostrava ) is a former Czech sports shooter .

successes

Martin Tenk took part in four Olympic Games . In 1996 in Atlanta he took 23rd place with the air pistol and seventh place with the free pistol. At the 2000 Games in Sydney he qualified with the Free Pistol with 566 points for the final, in which he scored a further 96.5 points. With a total of 662.5 points, he was third behind Tanju Kirjakow and Ihar Bassinski , so he won the bronze medal. He finished the competition with the air pistol in eleventh place. Four years later , with the free pistol in ninth place, he again missed a place in the finals, with the air pistol it was again not enough for the final with 20th place. He finished the Olympic Games in Beijing in 36th place with the free pistol. In Lahti in 2002 , Tenk was runner-up in the individual world championship behind Tan Zongliang with the free pistol . With the free pistol he also secured the European championship title in Bordeaux in 1999 .

He is married and has two children.
