Martin Viessmann

Martin Viessmann (born October 10, 1953 ) is a German entrepreneur .

Life

Viessmann studied business administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . In 1979 he joined the family company Viessmann Werke GmbH & Co. KG as managing director and successor to his father Hans Viessmann . In 1989 he received his doctorate in social and economic sciences in Innsbruck . Martin Viessmann has been President of the Kassel-Marburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry since 2004 and received the honorary professorship of the State of Hesse in 2013. He is married and has two children. Viessmann owns the world's largest collection of Mercedes classic cars outside the factory.
