Martin Wehrmann (* 1965 ) in Bremen is a spokesperson for film, radio and other media.

Professional background

Martin Wehrmann's career as a speaker began in 1991 with a student job as a radio host for a young private broadcaster in Berlin. After graduating from university with a degree in economics, he completed a three-year private training course in acting and speaking with Guenter Hanke.

From 1995 to 1996 he worked as a radio presenter at RBB , from 1996 to 2008 as voice and commentary for Sat.1 , founded his own studio and specializes in location-independent work. He is probably the first speaker in Germany to work for a daily TV magazine from his own home studio.

Wehrmann became station voice for various radio stations in Germany, is active as a voice in numerous radio plays and as an advertising and voiceover speaker in various productions for cinema, web, TV and radio.

In 1998 he and others bought a farm on the Danish Baltic coast, which was expanded into a culture and course center. From 1998 to 2006 he was a managing partner and also a freelance media spokesperson.

In 2006 he separated from the company in Denmark, moved back to Berlin and was involved in initiating a number of cultural projects that took him to the Sophiensäle and the Green Salon of the Berliner Volksbühne. Even today he works mostly from his own studio and lends his voice to a variety of projects.

Wehrmann is currently working parallel to speaking as a voluntary supervisor in the area of ​​asset management. He lives in Berlin.

He has been speaking for the Bohemian Browser Ballet since 2018 . Radio plays and audio books with Wehrmann as the speaker are u. a. published by Argon Verlag , Steinbach Talking Books and Audible . He also speaks for companies such as Apple , BASF , Daimler , Studiosus Reisen and Die Zeit .

You can often find his voice in image films relating to the topics of environmental protection and sustainability, such as for the international traveling exhibition “Ocean Plastics Lab” for “Der Grüne Punkt”. and "New Paths for Berlin eV"

During the 1980s, Wehrmann toured with the music and entertainment trio "Ad Absaudum" through numerous clubs in Northern Germany (piano, blues harp, moderation and singing). In the early 1990s he sat at the piano for the “Malles Diven” (Karsten Golbeck and Ruth Müller). In the 2000s he was the singer and guitarist in the band "The Tall People". Since 2010, together with Tina Ensikat and the Swiss “Theater Konstellationen”, he has initiated the literary series “Had Klappen Kann” in the Berlin Sophiensäle, and later the talent show “Patents Talents” in the Green Salon of the Berliner Volksbühne.
