Martin Wild (born December 2, 1952 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player and coach.
Career
From 1969 to 1980 he played in the Bundesliga with SC Riessersee , with whom he became the German champion in 1979 and then for the Cologne EC , before moving to the 2nd division first to ERC Freiburg and then to Duisburger SC and his playing career there in 1985 finished.
Internationally, he played for the German national ice hockey team at the Ice Hockey World Championship in 1978 and at the Olympic Winter Games in 1972 and 1980 .
From 1984 to 1986 he was the coach of Duisburger SC before he worked for EC Bad Tölz , EA Schongau and Duisburger SC in the 1987/88 season . In 1988/89 he took over the coaching position at Deggendorfer EC . 1990/91 to 1992/93 he again took over the coaching position at EA Schongau.
