Martin Wistinghausen

Martin Wistinghausen (born February 22, 1979 in Düsseldorf ) is a German composer and singer ( bass ).

Life

Wistinghausen studied singing ( Kurt Moll , Rudolf Piernay ), singing pedagogy, composition ( Ernst Bechert , Ulrich Leyendecker ), German and history (Magister) in Cologne, Mannheim and Düsseldorf. Most recently, as a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service, he received further training in composition from Adriana Hölszky at the Salzburg Mozarteum . He also attended master classes with Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau (singing) and Salvatore Sciarrino (composition). He has given concerts with well-known ensembles such as the Basler Madrigalisten and L'arpa festante and has received a number of composition commissions. His works have been heard at numerous festivals, on the radio (SWR, Deutschlandradio Kultur, Espace 2) and have been performed by renowned ensembles such as the "Austrian Ensemble for New Music", the "New Vocalsolists", the "Gémeaux Quartet" and the Dresden Ensemble Auditivvokal Dresden interpreted. At the theater of the city of Heidelberg and as part of the “3. Rheinsberger Opernwerkstatt “In 2008, scenic works by him were performed. He is a founding member and singer of the composer conspiracy sextet, which has existed since 2008 . Wistinghausen lives in Düsseldorf.
