Martina Helga Blickle

Martina Helga Blickle (born February 16, 1929 in Ulm ) is a German poet and painter who mainly publishes poetry.

Life

Martina Helga Blickle was born in Ulm in 1929. She initially worked as a designer before completing a violin degree in Stuttgart . Study trips to Austria and France followed . She began her writing career with short stories, after which she mainly wrote lyrical works. Since the mid-1960s she has worked as a freelance writer , painter and designer . In 1975 her first volume of poetry, Between Wave and Shore, was published . Her second volume, Zypressenpforte , was published two years later. Then in 1981 the volume Rindenmuster was published and in 1994 another volume of poetry under the title Die Other Strassen . As a painter, Martina Helga Blickle mainly works in watercolor and ink . Among other things, she created landscapes and cityscapes of Salzburg , Venice and Ulm .

In addition to her work as a painter and writer, Martina Helga Blickle also worked as a literature lecturer at the adult education center in Ulm.
