Marx Schinnagl

Marx Schinnagl (* October 10, 1612 ; † July 1681 ) actually Markus Schinnagl was Munich's electoral court architect , successor to Hans Konrad Asper .

Life

Schinnagl was born as the son of a Munich carpenter . The young Schinnagl found a job at the court in this profession early on. He was involved in furnishing the court chapel as early as 1630, moved to the court building department in 1635 and was appointed court architect in 1654. From 1675 he also held the title of Hofbrunnenmeister.
