Mary Selway

Mary Selway (born March 14, 1936 in Norwich , England , † April 21, 2004 in London , England) was a British casting director.

Act

Selway has worked with notable directors throughout her career, including Steven Spielberg , Roman Polański , Clint Eastwood , John Boorman , Sydney Pollack , Robert Altman , Michael Apted and Ridley Scott . She was responsible for the casting of more than 100 films. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts' film award for the best young actor ( Rising Star Award ) was dedicated to her after her death.
