Masaru Takamizawa

Masaru Takamizawa ( Japanese 高見 澤 勝 , Takamizawa Masaru ; born July 14, 1981 ) is a Japanese marathon runner .

In 2007 he was second in the Hokkaidō marathon in 2:18:13 h. The following year he won in the same spot with a lead of over three minutes in 2:12:10.

In 2009 he was ninth in the Nagano Marathon , fourth in the Hokkaidō Marathon and seventh in the Athens Marathon .

Masaru Takamizawa is 1.70 m tall and weighs 53 kg. He is from Nagano Prefecture . After graduating from Yamanashi Gakuin University, he was part of the Nissin Foods corporate team . In 2008 he became a computer science teacher at his old school, the Chōsei high school in Saku , for whose athletics team he is now starting. He is engaged to his fellow runner Kiyoko Shimahara .
