Maskulin Mixtape Vol. 2 is the second mixtape from Flers Label Maskulin , on which all artists of the label are represented. The mixtape was released on June 1st, 2012. The mix tape also comes with a second CD with the first part, which was previously only available as a download.
background
On October 28, 2011 the first mixtape of the label Masculin was released. This was only published digitally and so it was decided to make it available as a bonus CD for the second mixtape. The second mixtape should be released on June 1st, 2012 and contain the first mixtape as a second CD. Before the development phase, the rappers Nicone and Dizztino were signed to Masculin.

The cast of the mixtape includes rapper Fler, DJ Gan-G and rappers G-Hot , Sentence , Nicone , Silla and MoTrip . In addition, the singer Julian King has a guest appearance on the song Ein Leben . The rapper Styles P. has a guest post on the remix for Don't Stop .

marketing
Videos have been released for the songs Fresh Air , Casino Royal and One Life . An interview on the mixtape was published on June 5, 2012 on the Backspin.tv portal. The video single Fresh Air caused inconsistencies in the German rap scene because the video was originally supposed to be published on the Thug Life brand's YouTube channel . However, fresh air was removed after a short period of time, rumored to be the fault of rapper Farid Bang .
Chart success
The mixtape was ranked 10th in the German compilation charts. The single Minutentakt reached number 60 in the German charts. Spiegelbild was able to position itself in 38th place.
