The Mason Jewett Field Airport is the airport of the city of Mason in the state of Michigan , USA . The airfield is located 1.85 km southeast of downtown Mason. The airfield has a runway. The opening of the airfield took place in 1944. In March 1977, the airfield was sold to the Capital Region Airport Authority by previous owner Arthur Jewett.
