Mathew D. Rose
Mathew D. Rose (* 1954 ) is an American-born journalist in Germany.
Rose studied modern history in Berkeley, California, and opera directing in London . Today he works as an investigative journalist and since the mid- 1990s has been concentrating particularly on exposing corruption and nepotism in Berlin , the so-called "Berliner Filz".
Rose appears in discussion events and has published in the magazines Spiegel , Handelsblatt , manager magazin and various daily newspapers . He has written several books.
Honors
- Rose was involved in the investigation of the Berlin banking scandal and in 2002 (together with Ursel Sieber ) received the 3rd prize at the Helmut Schmidt Journalist Prize for the contrast article Bankruptcies without end - Die Bankgesellschaft Berlin .
