Mathias Preussner

Mathias Preussner (born September 3, 1949 ) is a German lawyer and building law scientist .

Life

Mathias Preussner studied law and political science at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . After his legal traineeship in Konstanz and his first state examination and second state examination , he was a research assistant at the University of Konstanz .

In 1980 he joined the Konstanz law firm Kues & Partner , where he works as a lawyer , specialist lawyer for administrative law and specialist lawyer for construction and architectural law as well as mediator. Preussner is an honorary professor at the Konstanz University of Technology, Economics and Design and teaches the subjects “Construction Law” and “Architectural Law”.

He is a member of the Administrative Law Working Group and the Construction Law Working Group in the German Bar Association . He is a member of the IfBF - Institute for Construction Law Freiburg im Breisgau, the organizer of the Freiburg Construction Law Days. He is a member of the German Society for Building Law in Frankfurt am Main, the organizer of the German Building Court Days .

Preussner's teaching and research focus is on architects and building law as well as public building law and municipal taxes. He has published numerous books and publications. He is a permanent employee of the magazines baurecht and IBR, building consultant and BGH report as well as the Beck'schen online commentary (BeckOK) .
