Mathieu Tschantré (born April 4, 1984 in Biel ) is a former Swiss ice hockey player who was under contract with EHC Biel throughout his professional career .

Career

Mathieu Tschantré began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown at EHC Biel , where he went through all junior teams before he made his debut in the National League B for the professional team in the 2000/01 season . He remained pointless and punished in five games. With Biel, for which he was exclusively active, the attacker was NLB champion in 2004 , 2006 , 2007 and 2008 . In addition, he rose with his team at the end of the 2007/08 season in the National League A in. Following the promotion year he was appointed team captain Biel, which he remained until the 2019/20 season. After the early end of the 2019/20 season (due to the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus ), he resigned as a professional ice hockey player. Tschantré, who studied business administration , is a partner in a financial company.
